Activities
There is a lot of untouched nature in the area that leaves our guests with endless opportunities. Our go to activities in the area for sure are hiking in the mountains as well as seal and wale watching on the beach! But there is many more opportunities, such as horseback riding or fishing. Feel free to ask us about any activities you might want to do during your stay!
Besides the hotel we run a farm concentrating on Icelandic horse breeding and training as well as riding instruction. The fields around our farm and hotel are a home to around 40 Icelandic horses.
If you are interested in getting to know more about the Icelandic horse and meet those fury friends on your journey, feel free to contact us for a “meet & greet” with cuddles and treats, fotoshootings or simular requests.
Furthermore we offer private riding instucion on our well educated horses for experienced riders.
We do not yet offer guided riding tours ourselves but would love to connect you with the best facilities in our area for your stay!
Fishing in Iceland is very popular, why not try it yourself and spend quality time out in the nature? We are offering day passes for fishing in the near by lake Vesturhóp.
